Center for Independent Journalism announces September 2026 agenda

The Center for Independent Journalism (CJI) has announced its agenda for September 2026, featuring several initiatives focused on media literacy, disinformation, and human rights.

On September 8, young journalists from Moldova and Ukraine will participate in a final online training session as part of a cross-border project aimed at combating disinformation and propaganda. Following this, on September 11, CJI will present its second monitoring report regarding the implementation of the Interministerial Plan for Information and Media Literacy (AIM).

Other scheduled activities include a training program on September 17-18 focused on responsible journalism and human rights, specifically regarding the objective reflection of minority rights in mass media. Additionally, CJI plans to release monitoring results for 40 news websites via the Media Radar platform and launch a research study on the population's level of media and information literacy on September 23.
