Center Parcs plans 300 million euro holiday park in Lausitzer Seenland
Center Parcs is planning to develop a large-scale holiday park in the Lausitzer Seenland region of Brandenburg, Germany. The proposed project covers approximately 90 hectares of land located between the Sedlitzer See and Partwitzer See lakes.
The development is expected to involve an investment of roughly 300 million euros and could include between 500 and 700 holiday homes, an adventure pool, restaurants, and various sports and leisure facilities. The goal is to provide a year-round vacation concept for families.
Brandenburg's Economic Minister, Martina Klement, described the project as one of the largest tourism development initiatives in the state, noting its potential to significantly boost regional tourism and the economy. The project is currently in the planning and study phase, with feasibility, spatial compatibility, and environmental assessments expected to continue through 2028. A final construction timeline has not yet been established.
