Italian center-right coalitions organize for upcoming local elections

Center-right political forces in Italy are beginning to organize and coordinate ahead of upcoming local and administrative elections.

In Roseto degli Abruzzi, Fratelli d’Italia has moved to dismiss rumors of internal divisions within the center-right coalition. Party representatives Umberto Valentini and the provincial coordinator emphasized the need for unity and a shared framework as the political landscape prepares for the 2027 municipal elections. The party aims to maintain stability and prevent fractures within the alliance across the Teramo coast.

In Cosenza, members of the center-right coalition held their first inter-party meeting at the Fratelli d’Italia provincial headquarters. Representatives from Fratelli d’Italia, Forza Italia, Lega, Italia del Meridione, and Noi Moderati met to discuss a shared political path. The group expressed a commitment to developing concrete proposals for both the city of Cosenza and the wider province, aiming to address local issues and improve quality of life in the lead-up to the elections.
