Centorrino Technologies adopts SUSE Virtualisation to replace VMware

Centorrino Technologies (CT) has selected SUSE Virtualisation to replace VMware across its hosted infrastructure platform. The transition involves moving thousands of virtual machine (VM) instances to the open-source-based platform.

Driven by rising licensing and subscription costs from major vendors, the migration aims to reduce vendor lock-in and ensure long-term infrastructure affordability. CT has developed a repeatable migration framework designed to scale across hundreds of customer environments while maintaining enterprise-grade availability, resilience, and minimal downtime for production workloads.

The SUSE platform has already been running in production and is now being rolled out to CT’s customers. The move is intended to provide commercial certainty and allow organizations to modernize workloads without significant business disruption.
