Central American football coaches react to recent losses

In Central American football, coaches Salomón Nazar and Ismael Rescalvo addressed recent losses. Following a 4-1 defeat by Motagua in the Honduran Liga Nacional, Lobos de la UPN coach Salomón Nazar criticized his team's performance and attitude, stating they “gave shame” and lacked fitness.

In the Copa Centroamericana, Liga Deportiva Alajuelense fell 1-0 to Luis Ángel Firpo. Coach Ismael Rescalvo attributed the loss to a lack of intensity and ball possession, particularly in the first half. Alajuelense must now win their final group stage match against Panama's Plaza Amador to advance.
