Central Asian nations advance economic and diplomatic ties

Central Asian nations and their partners are advancing various economic and diplomatic initiatives. In Uzbekistan, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev reaffirmed a constructive and pragmatic foreign policy toward Afghanistan, emphasizing regional stability and connectivity.

Belarus and Uzbekistan are working to implement strategic partnership projects, with a goal to increase trade turnover to $2 billion by 2030. Officials noted that cooperation is expanding across sectors including economy, education, and healthcare.

In Turkmenistan, the government is preparing a large-scale exhibition to mark the 35th anniversary of independence, showcasing national economic achievements and progress in sectors such as oil, gas, and agriculture. Meanwhile, Japanese Foreign Minister Toshimitsu Motegi is visiting Ashgabat to deepen strategic ties with Turkmenistan, focusing on economic cooperation and regional connectivity.
