Central Bohemian firefighters utilize new station during factory fire

Firefighters in Central Bohemia have received new operational capabilities through both infrastructure improvements and specialized equipment. On September 10, a new water filling station was officially opened in Králov Dvůr. The utility was immediately put to use later that night when a fire broke out at a furniture manufacturing facility in Trubín. Firefighters from Beroun, Králov Dvůr, Zdice, Chyňavy, and Počapely responded to the blaze, which involved a boiler room and waste. No injuries were reported.

In a separate development, the Příbram Fire Rescue Service received new specialized equipment funded by the ČEZ Foundation. The new gear, valued at over 220,000 CZK, includes a sonar search device with mapping capabilities for underwater navigation, a portable lighting system, and a power generator. This equipment is intended to enhance search and rescue operations for missing persons in water bodies such as the Orlík and Kamýk reservoirs, particularly during night operations or low visibility.
