Central Bureau of Communication shortlists agencies for digital ad empanelment
The Central Bureau of Communication (CBC) has initiated the first phase of a digital advertising empanelment process specifically designed for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) and startups. This initiative aims to create a specialized base panel of qualified entities to manage digital outreach, social media promotions, programmatic ad placements, and performance marketing for various Union Ministries and government departments.
Following a technical evaluation of bids, the CBC has shortlisted 31 agencies to deliver technical presentations starting September 25, 2026, at its office in New Delhi. The shortlisted group includes various digital media agencies such as Broadswall Media, Interactive Avenues, Social Panga Marketing, and Mindshare Media India, among others.
Additionally, the CBC has granted eight agencies with documentary deficiencies the opportunity to rectify their submissions by September 24. Those found eligible after re-evaluation will be scheduled for presentations on September 28. The empanelment process is part of a broader government effort to provide smaller enterprises and startups with direct opportunities to participate in public sector digital campaigns.
