Central European Initiative renews support for Young Bled Strategic Forum

The Central European Initiative (CEI) has renewed its support for the Young Bled Strategic Forum (Young BSF). Scheduled to take place from August 27 to 30, 2026, in Kranjska Gora and Bled, Slovenia, the event will bring together over one hundred young professionals, researchers, and public officials from across the CEI cooperation area.

Recognized as a CEI Flagship Event, the forum focuses on the concept of ‘youth agency,’ encouraging young leaders to participate actively in decision-making processes amidst geopolitical tensions and technological shifts. The program includes plenary sessions and workshops covering topics such as the defense of democracy, online disinformation, and the future of the Euro-Atlantic order. Zsuzsanna Király, Vice Secretary General of the CEI, emphasized that supporting the forum fulfills commitments made by member states in the 2019 Trieste Declaration.
