Two athletes have died during the XVII Central Java Provincial Sports Week (Porprov Jateng 2026) in the Semarang region.

Syabilla Rizkia Putri Raharja, a diver from Jepara, passed away on Sunday, October 25, while competing in a sea diving event at Awann Costa. Before her death, she had secured two gold medals for the Jepara contingent in the women’s 100 meter and 200 meter bifins events. The Jepara Regional Sports Committee (KONI) has requested that its athletes wear black ribbons as a mark of respect.
