Central Java Investment Business Forum 2026 promotes regional growth
The Central Java Investment Business Forum (CJIBF) 2026 was held in Jakarta on August 27, 2026, to promote sustainable development and regional competitiveness. Organized by the Central Java Provincial Government in collaboration with the Bank Indonesia Representative Office for Central Java, the forum aims to accelerate investment growth by connecting local governments, project owners, and potential investors.
The forum features 19 Investment Project Ready to Offer (IPRO) projects with a total value of approximately Rp14.9 trillion. This initiative is part of the Central Java Economic, Trade, Investment, and Tourism Corridor (KERIS JATENG), designed to integrate regional advantages and improve investment services and policies to enhance global competitiveness.
Local leaders, including Kudus Regent Sam’ani Intakoris, participated to showcase regional potential and foster a conducive investment climate. The event comes amid positive economic indicators for Central Java, which reported a year-on-year economic growth of 5.71 percent in the second quarter of 2026, surpassing both the national average and the growth rate of Java Island.
