Central Java opens selection for Information Commission members
The Central Java Provincial Government has opened the registration process for candidates to become members of the Central Java Information Commission (KI Jateng) for the 2027–2031 term. The selection period runs for 16 days, from August 13 to August 28, 2026.
Candidates must be Indonesian citizens with high integrity, no criminal record for offenses carrying a sentence of five years or more, and a minimum age of 35. Applicants are required to possess knowledge of public information disclosure and experience within public bodies. If selected, members must be willing to work full-time and resign from any current positions in public agencies.
Required documentation includes a registration letter, curriculum vitae, recent color photographs, a Central Java ID card, and a legalized minimum of a Bachelor's degree. Additional requirements include a police record certificate (SKCK), a statement of resignation from public roles, and a medical certificate from a government hospital confirming physical and mental health, as well as being drug-free. Registration is free and can be submitted in person or via mail to the Secretariat of the Selection Team at the Communication, Informatics and Digital Department in Semarang.
