Central Java welcomes BPK audit of strategic programs

The Central Java provincial government has welcomed a preliminary audit by the Audit Board of Indonesia (BPK). Vice Governor Taj Yasin Maimoen stated that the administration is committed to transparency and cooperation to improve regional financial management and governance.

During an entry meeting held on August 31, 2026, the Vice Governor instructed all regional government organizations (OPD) to prepare the necessary documentation and materials for the inspection. He expressed hope that the audit would provide objective feedback to ensure a cleaner and more beneficial government for the public.

Ahmad Luthfi H Rahmatullah, Head of the BPK Representative for Central Java, confirmed that the audit will focus on four strategic areas:

1. Performance review of energy security efforts. 2. Performance review of sustainable food production and affordability. 3. Compliance review of education sector management. 4. Compliance review of Corporate Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSLP) management.
