Central Michigan and Coastal Carolina preview 2026 rosters

Central Michigan University and Coastal Carolina University have released position previews for their upcoming 2026 seasons, highlighting depth in key offensive roles.

Central Michigan enters the season with a deep quarterback room. The team returns three experienced players who saw action last year: Angel Flores, Jadyn Glasser, and Marcus Beamon. They are joined by developing players Daniel Gomez, Geno Seets, and Ryland Watters. Offensive Coordinator Jim Chapin noted that the competition and experience within the group are significant assets as the team works to replace Joe Labas, who started all 13 games last season.

Coastal Carolina University reports a veteran presence in its running back unit. Sophomores Jevon Edwards and Dominic Lee-Knicely return after a productive 2025 season, combining for 756 rushing yards. The roster has been bolstered through the transfer portal with the additions of Daelen Alexander from Rice, Jaden Allen-Hendrix from Oklahoma State, and Kente Edwards from Lafayette. Other returning players include Breyahn Townsend and Joe Ober.
