Central Michigan defeats Wyoming 24-10 behind dominant rushing attack

Central Michigan University defeated Wyoming 24-10 in a nonconference football game, driven by a dominant rushing performance. The Chippewas accumulated 339 rushing yards, the highest mark under second-year head coach Matt Drinkall.

Quarterback Angel Flores served as the primary offensive engine, rushing 28 times for 163 yards and two touchdowns. Flores' rushing total represents the third-highest for a quarterback in program history. While the team has struggled with passing efficiency, the run-heavy approach allowed Central Michigan to control possession for over 11 minutes more than their opponents.

Coach Drinkall noted that the strategy focuses on a ball-control offense to provide stability. Following this second consecutive win, the team improves to a 2-1 record.
