Central Missouri and Missouri State secure collegiate soccer victories

In recent collegiate soccer action, the No. 19 ranked Central Missouri Jennies defeated Fort Hays State 4-0 in Hays, Kansas. Central Missouri established an early lead with a goal from Coryn Jespersen just 16 seconds into the match. Despite heavy rain during the second half, the Jennies added three more goals from Mikayla Ernst, Kylie Richardson, and Allie Schroeder to secure the victory and move to a 7-1 overall record.

In another matchup, No. 9 Missouri State defeated the University of South Florida men's soccer team 3-2. After a scoreless first half, Missouri State scored twice in quick succession during the 56th and 60th minutes. Although South Florida attempted a comeback with goals from Tyler Richardson and Serigne Diallo, they were unable to equalize before the final whistle. Missouri State remains unbeaten with a 7-0-1 record.
