Central Papua officials prepare for Governor Meki Nawipa’s visit to Deiyai

Civil servants from Deiyai Regency working within the Central Papua Provincial Government held a coordination meeting to prepare for an upcoming working visit by Governor Meki Nawipa to Deiyai Regency. The visit is scheduled for September 8, 2026.

Coordinator Albertus Adii stated that the meeting addressed technical preparations, the visit agenda, and coordination with local government and residents to ensure the trip is safe and beneficial. Officials expressed hope that the visit will drive development in education, economy, and health, rather than being merely ceremonial.
