Central Statistical Organization launches MICS Plus survey training in Aden

The Central Statistical Organization has launched a training workshop in Aden to implement the Multiple Indicator Cluster Survey (MICS Plus) for 2026 in liberated areas. The initiative is being conducted in partnership with UNICEF.

The survey aims to provide updated and reliable data regarding the conditions of women, children, and households to support data-driven planning, policymaking, and programming. Dr. Safaa Moati, President of the Central Statistical Organization, emphasized that the survey will provide essential statistical indicators to understand the needs of these demographics.

The three-day workshop includes training on survey methodology, questionnaire content, and data collection mechanisms. Data collection will be conducted through telephone interviews via a call center to ensure accuracy and quality.
