Central Sulawesi officials discuss 2027 regional budget planning

Central Sulawesi Vice Governor Reny A. Lamadjido attended a plenary session of the Regional House of Representatives (DPRD) to discuss the preparation stages of the 2027 Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budget (RAPBD).

The provincial government emphasized that the 2027 budget must serve as an instrument to improve public service quality and community welfare rather than just a financial document. Officials stated that every planned program must have clear, measurable outputs and outcomes that provide tangible benefits to the public.

Due to fiscal limitations, the provincial government is seeking synergy between local authorities, the legislature, the business sector, and the community. Efforts to increase fiscal capacity will include optimizing regional original income (PAD) and improving taxpayer compliance.
