Central Sulawesi police uncover subsidized fuel misuse in North Morowali

Police in Central Sulawesi have uncovered the suspected misuse of subsidized fuel in North Morowali Regency. During an investigation in Ganda-Ganda Village, authorities discovered a large storage of bio-diesel.

Investigators seized seven plastic tanks, each with a 1,000-liter capacity, containing an estimated total of 2,060 liters of subsidized bio-diesel. The storage facility belongs to a 55-year-old entrepreneur identified as HT. Preliminary findings indicate the fuel was purchased through PT Mega Trans Investama Sukses and PT Harmony Solusi Energi. HT reportedly used a portion of the fuel to support nickel ore mining activities conducted under a contract with PT Sumber Permata Selaras. The case remains under investigation by the Central Sulawesi Regional Police.
