Central Sulawesi urges KADIN to prioritize agricultural downstreaming
The Central Sulawesi provincial government is urging the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN) to prioritize downstreaming in the agriculture, plantation, and fisheries sectors. During the inauguration of the KADIN Central Sulawesi leadership for the 2026–2031 term, Vice Governor Reny A Lamadjido emphasized that regional economic development should not rely solely on the mining sector.
Lamadjido noted that the province possesses significant agricultural and marine resources with global market potential. To support this, the government plans to hold a meeting with approximately 1,000 MSMEs across Central Sulawesi on September 28 to strengthen their capacity and market access for export readiness.
