Central Taiwan Science Park opens new standard factory in Erlin

The Central Taiwan Science Park (CTSP) has officially inaugurated its new standard factory in the Erlin District. The facility features 18 rental units, ranging from 150 to 300 pings, designed to accommodate small-to-medium enterprises and startups. The buildings utilize energy-efficient and smart monitoring designs to reduce operational costs and enhance safety.

CTSP Director Hsu Mao-hsin reported that the park's revenue reached 0.89 trillion TWD by the end of August, representing a 26.08% year-on-year increase. To support the growing industrial cluster, the park is also constructing its first phase of employee dormitories, expected to be operational by the first half of 2030.

Infrastructure improvements, including the upcoming opening of the Taiwan Provincial Highway 76 western extension, are expected to significantly reduce travel times to major national highways, further boosting the Erlin area's competitiveness.
