Central-West Brazil Forecast Calls for Isolated Showers and Warm Temperatures
The Instituto Nacional de Meteorologia (Inmet) predicts mostly cloudy skies across Brazil's Central-West region on Friday, 26 May, with isolated rain possible in Mato Grosso, Mato Grosso do Sul and parts of Goiás. Temperatures will range from 18 °C to 30 °C in Cuiabá and 12 °C to 24 °C in Campo Grande, while Brasília sees highs near 26 °C.
On Saturday, 27 May, Mato Grosso do Sul is expected to experience more stable conditions, allowing temperatures to rise to 30 °C–32 °C in the north and Pantanal areas. Isolated thunderstorms may still occur in the south, southeast and southwest of the state, driven by atmospheric disturbances that transport moisture. A cold front approaching Sunday could bring additional spotty rain and thunderstorms, especially in the state's southern and southwestern zones.
