Central West fast food landscape shifts as Red Rooster exits region

Consequently, Bathurst's total restaurant count has dropped from 15 to 13, and Orange has seen a decrease from 13 to 12.
In terms of new developments, Carl's Jr reopened in Kelso on the Great Western Highway in September 2025, following a previous closure caused by voluntary administration of its franchisees.
