Centrale d’Achat du Gabon opens EDEN MARKET in Libreville

The Centrale d’Achat du Gabon (CEAG), in partnership with the humanitarian association EDEN Life International, inaugurated EDEN MARKET in the Kinguélé district of Libreville on Friday, August 21, 2026.

Located in the 3rd arrondissement, this is the first CEAG-authorized store in the Greater Libreville area and the second in Gabon, following La Minvouloise in Minvoul. The initiative aims to combat the high cost of living by providing residents with access to essential goods at affordable prices, thereby supporting local purchasing power.

In addition to economic relief, the project includes a social component by promoting local employment; five youths from the 3rd arrondissement have been hired to work at the new location. CEAG Director General Théophile Boutamba stated that the opening marks a new step in deploying a network of authorized stores to bring essential products closer to the population.
