Centre County fatal multi-vehicle crash on I-80
A multi-vehicle collision on Interstate 80 in Centre County, Pennsylvania, resulted in one fatality on Tuesday afternoon. The crash occurred near mile marker 163 in Marion Township, where traffic was already slowed due to a long-term construction zone.
According to state police, the incident involved seven vehicles, including passenger cars and at least one tractor-trailer. A chain reaction caused three vehicles to catch fire. One driver was killed after their vehicle exploded and became fully engulfed in flames following a collision with the seventh vehicle.
