Centre Nautique Sèvre et Loire hosts sunset rowing outings in May 2026

The Centre Nautique Sèvre et Loire organized a series of rowing outings on the Loire in the spring of 2026. After a weather delay on 19 May, participants set out on 20 May with two boats, Hippocampe and P’tit Lu, sailing past the newly‑completed Anne de Bretagne bridge and returning to Trentemoult under clear skies. Earlier, in April, a larger group of seven rowing crews attempted a tour of the local "Isles," navigating the Madeleine and Pirmil arms despite low water levels and light wind. Both outings featured briefings, shared meals, and opportunities to observe the new bridge, which was praised for its historic naming. The events concluded with communal meals and reflections on the day's navigation conditions.
