Centro Asturiano de Oviedo hosts traditional cider tasting

The Centro Asturiano de Oviedo has held its traditional tasting of homemade cider during the Covadonga festivities. The club produces approximately 600 liters of cider annually using apples harvested in Villaviciosa.

Master cider maker Cándido González noted that the production process involves younger members of the club, who participate in harvesting and pressing the fruit. The event has seen increasing attendance from families and members, serving as a cornerstone of the club's cultural celebrations.
