Centro Cultural Missionário to host virtual Missiology Seminar

The Centro Cultural Missionário (CCM) will host a virtual Missiology Seminar on October 20 and 21, 2026. The event is designed to support the synodal-missionary journey of the Church in Brazil as it prepares for the National Missionary Year and the 7th American Missionary Congress (CAM7), scheduled for 2029 in the Archdiocese of Curitiba.

Organized in partnership with the National Conference of Bishops of Brazil (CNBB), the Conference of Religious of Brazil (CRB), and the Pontifical Missionary Works (POM), the seminar focuses on the theme ‘America in departure: people of God who announce and witness Jesus Christ!’. The National Missionary Year is set to take place from November 26, 2028, to November 18, 2029, aiming to deepen the missionary responsibility of the Church throughout Brazil.
