Centro Cultural Rainieri opens in Punta Cana

The Centro Cultural Rainieri has officially opened in Punta Cana, La Altagracia, serving as a new institutional platform for Dominican culture, history, and education. Conceived as a legacy by Frank and Haydée Rainieri, the center aims to connect national and international audiences with the country's heritage through interactive and multisensorial experiences.

The facility features modern architectural design and utilizes digital technology to offer diverse expositive formats, both in-person and virtual. The programming covers archaeological and historical topics, contemporary visual arts, musical folklore, gastronomy, and sports.

The official inauguration ceremony was attended by high-ranking officials, including Dominican President Luis Abinader Corona, First Lady Raquel Arbaje, and Vice President Raquel Peña. The center is led by inaugural director Alex Martínez Suárez, an architect and cultural manager.
