Centro de Referência da Mulher Brasileira launches mobile assistance project

The Centro de Referência da Mulher Brasileira (CRMB) is launching the ‘CRMB Itinerante’ project to provide specialized assistance to women experiencing violence in various regions of Ponta Grossa. The initiative aims to decentralize services by bringing multidisciplinary teams—including social workers, psychologists, and social educators—directly to neighborhoods, health units, schools, and rural areas.

According to municipal officials, the project seeks to overcome barriers such as geographic distance, economic dependence, and lack of knowledge regarding protection networks. By moving services closer to the community, the program intends to reduce isolation and facilitate easier access to legal and psychological support for women aged 18 to 59.
