Centro di Coordinamento Batterie appoints first Board of Directors

The Centro di Coordinamento Batterie has appointed its first Board of Directors. The seven-member body, which will remain in office until the approval of the 2028 financial statements, was elected by the assembly of members on September 29, 2026.

Laura Castelli has been elected as President. The new governance structure is designed to align the Center with updated European and national regulations regarding batteries and the management of related waste. The board includes representatives from various battery categories, including portable, light mobility (LMT), starter (SLI), industrial, and electric vehicle (EV) sectors.
