Centro Didattico Scientifico announces September program

The Centro Didattico Scientifico – EcoPlanetario di Tradate, located in Parco Pineta, has announced its September program of activities promoted by the Cooperativa Sociale AstroNatura. The schedule includes a variety of scientific, creative, and narrative events.

A central feature is the “Racconti intorno al fuoco” (Stories around the fire) series, which combines scientific and astronomical outreach with storytelling. These evenings include discussions on myths, legends, and the history of explorers, followed by guided telescope observations of the night sky, weather permitting. Specific sessions include “Miti e leggende del bosco” on September 12 and “Storie di esploratori” on September 26.

Other scheduled events include “Terra di Mezzo,” a weekend dedicated to the literary universe of J. R. R. Tolkien featuring role-playing games, scholarly meetings, and Elvish writing lessons. Additionally, the “Il (piccolo) Bosco Incantato” program offers experiential workshops for children to explore nature and astronomy.
