Centro Español de Logística to host 48th annual congress in Madrid

The Spanish Logistics Center (CEL) will hold its 48th annual congress on October 22, 2026, in Madrid. Under the theme ‘The supply chain in transformation mode: the decisions that will mark competitiveness’, the event will gather executives and specialists to analyze investment priorities, operating models, and sector transformation.

Key topics include the impact of digitalization, cost pressures, and market uncertainty. The program features a presentation by Aries Li Keling of Huawei Spain Enterprise Business regarding technological transformation in China, specifically focusing on data, automation, and artificial intelligence.

A central roundtable will include representatives from Cencora, Acciona, Prologis, and Mercasa. Additionally, the congress will introduce ‘CEL Dates’, a new debate format, with an initial session focused on the complementarity between rail and road transport. Other sessions will address supply chain resilience and intermodality, featuring participants from the Spanish Military Emergencies Unit (UME) and the Port Authority of Valencia.
