Centro Venezolano Argentino robbed in Buenos Aires

The Centro Venezolano Argentino, a community hub for Venezuelan migrants located in the Villa Crespo neighborhood of Buenos Aires, was targeted in a violent robbery during the early hours of Wednesday, October 7.

According to a statement from the Alianza por Venezuela association, perpetrators forced entry through the doors, causing significant damage to the facilities. Stolen items include notebooks, iPads, sound equipment, and other technical tools essential for the center's community programs.

The center, known as ‘Araguaney’, provides social, cultural, and professional integration services, including workshops on labor insertion and migration regularization. Due to the damage and theft, the organization has suspended all scheduled activities while it assesses the losses and works with authorities to identify those responsible.
