Centrum Poppy’s announces support programs for cancer patients and families
Centrum Poppy’s is organizing several community programs in the Netherlands designed for individuals directly or indirectly affected by cancer.
In Dongen, the center will host a special evening on September 29 at Natuurlijk Klein Dongen. The event includes a dinner featuring organic ingredients, a tour of the greenhouse and food forest, and an accessible chair yoga session focused on relaxation and well-being.
In Oosterhout, the center is launching the ‘Leven tot het laatst’ (Living to the Last) program in conjunction with the National Week of Palliative Care, running from early October through November. The schedule includes discussions on quality of life with palliative care advisors, a writing workshop with poet Jula Mente, a bereavement lunch, and a theater concert. Additionally, a session featuring Jaap Oomen will host guests sharing their experiences of living with terminal illness.
