Centrum Poppy’s hosts end-of-life and palliative care events
Centrum Poppy’s is hosting a series of events focused on living well during the final stages of life, following the Week of Palliative Care. The program aims to support individuals directly or indirectly affected by cancer by providing a safe space for sharing experiences.
On October 29, Jaap Oomen will lead a discussion with guests regarding the challenges and sources of strength when facing incurable illness. Additionally, on November 9, a themed evening titled ‘Thinking about your end of life’ will be held. This session, led by former GP and SCEN doctor Annefried Veenman, will cover topics such as personal autonomy, palliative sedation, and euthanasia.
