Century Cruises and Strategic Marine announce new maritime developments

Century Cruises has introduced the Century Vision, a new luxury river cruise ship designed for the Yangtze River. The vessel features seven decks, a length of nearly 150 meters, and a capacity for 650 guests across 236 cabins. The ship will operate a four-day itinerary between Chongqing and Yichang. This launch is part of the company's long-term strategy to expand its presence, with plans to enter the European market in 2026 and Egypt in 2027.

In the maritime transport sector, Strategic Marine has delivered the Putri Mayang Sari, the first of three new 43-meter catamarans built for Bintan Resort Ferries (BRF). Constructed in Singapore, the vessel is designed to enhance passenger transport services between Singapore and Bintan. The catamaran can accommodate 293 passengers and includes Emerald class seating. The remaining two vessels in the modernization program are scheduled for delivery in 2026.
