CEOE CEPYME Cuenca supports European Commission market roadmap
The business organization CEOE CEPYME Cuenca has expressed support for the European Commission’s ‘One Europe, One Market’ roadmap, which aims for completion by 2027. The framework includes twelve omnibus simplification packages, initiatives regarding electrical grids, the European Affordable Housing Plan, the Migration and Asylum Pact, and the upcoming Multiannual Financial Framework.
In alignment with BusinessEurope, the organization identifies economic strengthening as a primary priority. Key focus areas include enhancing competitiveness, solidifying the single market, reducing energy costs, and improving access to capital. Proposed measures also include the creation of a European Critical Raw Materials Corporation and increased collaboration with Canada.
Additionally, the organization has communicated new information obligations for employers in Spain. Following the transposition of an EU directive by the Ministry of Labour and Social Economy, companies must now provide written details regarding essential contract elements and working conditions to employees before the start of a labor relationship.
