CEOE-Cepyme Guadalajara announces international trade and retail workshops
CEOE-Cepyme Guadalajara has organized a series of virtual sessions focused on international trade, scheduled for October 19, 21, and 23. The program, held in collaboration with IPEX and the Provincial Council of Guadalajara, aims to provide tools for business internationalization.
Key topics include the Mercosur trade agreement, which offers access to 700 million consumers and zero tariffs for 91% of Spanish exports. Other sessions will address sustainability requirements, specifically the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) and the Digital Product Passport, which impact export obligations and traceability within the EU. A final session will cover new customs scenarios.
Additionally, Fedeco, part of CEOE-Cepyme Guadalajara, is hosting a free training workshop for small businesses on October 20. Titled ‘How to close better, manage objections, and defend the value of what we sell’, the session focuses on customer service techniques, including identifying buyer needs, managing objections, and defending prices without damaging customer relationships.
