Ceramic art exhibitions feature Joan Pere Català Roig and Ana Daganzo

The exhibition ‘De la terra al Cel’ by Joan Pere Català Roig is opening at the Capella de la Misericòrdia in Palma. Curated by Luis Juan de Sentmenat García-Ruiz, the show is part of Biennal B, an initiative by Es Baluard Museu d’Art Contemporani de Palma and the Consell de Mallorca. The works focus on ceramics as a practice tied to time, material, and craftsmanship, exploring the transformative effects of fire on clay and glaze.

Separately, artist Ana Daganzo has been featured in recent exhibitions, including ‘Un jardín hostil’ at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and works presented at the Fundación José Ortega y Gasset – Gregorio Marañón. Daganzo’s work often explores ruderal flora and has been showcased in various international and domestic galleries.
