Ceramic industry leaders in Acre highlight importance of public works

Ceramic industry representatives in Acre are highlighting the critical role of public works in strengthening the local sector. During Expoacre 2026, the Ceramic Industries Union of the State of Acre (Sindicer) discussed how infrastructure projects help mitigate seasonal challenges.

Carlos Henrique Simão of Sindicer noted that a recent tender by the Rio Branco City Hall to pave 51 kilometers of streets with ceramic paving provides essential support. This initiative helps offset the six-month period of decreased market demand that companies typically face annually. The union emphasized that public investments stimulate the production chain, generate demand for materials, and help maintain local employment and family income.
