Ceramiche Marca Corona promotes contemporary art in Sassuolo
The company Ceramiche Marca Corona is strengthening its connection to the contemporary art world through its ‘Marca Corona per l’Arte’ project. Launched in 2022, the initiative engages national and international artists to foster a dialogue between the company, its employees, and the local community.
Artist Andrea Mastrovito, known for his work in Bergamo and New York, was a central figure in the 2025 ‘Sette Stanze’ exhibition held at the Palazzo Ducale di Sassuolo in collaboration with Gallerie Estensi. The exhibition featured the collective work ‘MCm’, a large-scale mosaic created with Marca Corona employees using paper frottage techniques, alongside site-specific installations in the Appartamento degli Stucchi.
Mastrovito’s recent international recognition includes winning a competition to create a sculpture for the Torre de Jesús, the highest tower of the Sagrada Família in Barcelona.
