Cerdanyola and Terrassa municipalities launch August service guides

The Cerdanyola City Council is promoting a range of summer activities for August. The Museum of Iberian Culture at Ca n'Oliver will stay open Wednesday to Sunday with free entry, and a guided tour of its permanent exhibition is scheduled for Sunday at 12 p.m. for a fee of €3.08. A summer blood‑and‑plasma donation drive runs on 3, 10 and 24 August, and the council will distribute certified glasses for safe viewing of the solar eclipse on 12 August. In Terrassa, municipal services continue throughout the month: four public pools operate on a rotating schedule, libraries serve as cooling shelters, and key offices such as the National Police DNI desk and the Syndic of Grievances remain open. Urban bus routes are adjusted for summer demand, markets deliver fresh produce each morning, and 24‑hour water assistance is available. Both major hospitals keep full 24‑hour service, while social‑care and emergency services maintain regular operations.
