Cerdanyola celebrates school anniversary while Sabadell begins major summer public works
Cerdanyola marked the 50th anniversary of the Flor de Maig special education school with a celebration involving current and former students, staff and families. The city also concluded its summer activity programmes for children, youth and seniors, maintained a level‑2 forest‑fire risk due to heat, and prepared for the 16th International Children’s Theatre Festival.
In Sabadell, the municipal government launched a series of large‑scale summer works. The most extensive project is the re‑urbanisation of the Ronda de Collsalarca, costing €6.3 million and already partially reopened. A new green corridor, the Passeig d’Antoni Farrés, will receive €3.4 million, while a sand‑parking renovation on Eix Macià is funded with €1.67 million. Additional works include a new southern garden and other improvements, all slated for completion by next spring.
