Ceren Karakoç reveals sudden departure from ‘Kızılcık Şerbeti’

Actress Ceren Karakoç, known for her role as Nursema in the popular Turkish series ‘Kızılcık Şerbeti’, has shared details regarding her sudden departure from the show. In an interview with journalist Ayşe Arman, Karakoç stated that she believed she had reached an agreement with the producer to continue with the production for the upcoming season.

Karakoç explained that after her meeting with the producer, she went on vacation under the impression that her contract was secure. However, she was subsequently called for an urgent meeting by the production company, where she was informed that her employment had been terminated. She noted that she was unaware that her character was scripted to die in an accident.

Her comments have reignited discussions within the television industry regarding how actors are notified of contract terminations and the uncertainties surrounding seasonal planning.
