CEREST Salvador celebrates 20 years of occupational health services
The Worker's Health Reference Center (CEREST) in Salvador celebrated 20 years of operation with a seminar focused on occupational health and the strengthening of public policies. The event brought together specialists and professionals to discuss challenges and advancements in the field.
As part of the National Network for Integral Attention to Worker's Health (Renast) and the Unified Health System (SUS), CEREST Salvador serves as a technical reference for identifying, preventing, and monitoring work-related illnesses and injuries. Its activities include environmental surveillance, epidemiological monitoring, and permanent education. Following its municipalization in 2023, the center has concentrated its efforts specifically on the working population within the city of Salvador.
