The municipality of Ceriale has inaugurated its renovated seafront promenade, following the completion of works on the section between Rio San Rocco and the intersection with via Orti del Largosi. The project, which began on October 1, 2024, was completed on July 27, 2026, adhering to contractual timelines.
The redevelopment involved a total investment of 2.67 million euros. Key improvements include the restructuring of the promenade, new flowerbeds and plantings, the installation of seating walls, and the creation of new squares and social spaces. The area also features a new LED lighting system with artistic elements and a fitness area.
Beyond aesthetic upgrades, the project included significant infrastructure modernization. This involved renewing aging underground services, consolidating irrigation lines, and reorganizing electrical utility cabinets. The works were carried out in functional stages to minimize local disruption and ensure the area remained usable during the 2025 summer season.
