Ceriano Laghetto Lega requests open council meeting over industrial odors

The Lega political group in Ceriano Laghetto has officially requested Mayor Massimiliano Occa to convene an open city council meeting to address ongoing issues regarding industrial odors. The request follows technical meetings held in late September and recent spontaneous protests by local residents.

The unpleasant odors, which have affected residents for months, are reported to impact several areas including Solaro, Cesano Maderno, Cogliate, and Limbiate, though the source is believed to be located in the Villaggio Brollo district. Arpa has recently issued a note indicating that a specific company has been identified as a possible cause.

Lega representatives, including Dante Cattaneo, Roberto Crippa, and Antonella Imperato, have proposed holding the extraordinary session at the Centro Civico in via Dante to allow residents, experts, and committees to contribute directly to the discussion.
