Cerignola advances urban regeneration projects

Cerignola has reached two significant milestones in its urban regeneration strategy. The Puglia Region has transmitted the regulations required to begin the redevelopment of the Torricelli district, which includes a 1.6 million euro project to convert the former Carapellese sports field into new public spaces designed to improve social interaction and accessibility.

Additionally, the Soprintendenza Archeologia, Belle Arti e Paesaggio has authorized the redevelopment of Piazza Duomo. The project involves replacing asphalt with Trani limestone paving, introducing green spaces, new seating, urban furniture, and an updated lighting system, all while adhering to strict conservation requirements for the historic area.
